Paradroid remake

Post by FFRenzy »

Frankly, i'm amazed that there isn't already a topic about this.

Ovine By Design ( a.k.a. StuC ), the man that has brought us the dedicated SlayRadio player, has made a great remake of the all-time C64 classic Paradroid. The game is great, it has the same feel as the original. the graphics are updated, but quite fit the original, and the FX are from the original C64 version itself. check it out at http://paradroid.ovine.net

BTW, He's made other remakes, like Total Eclipse, Antiriad and Cholo ( amongst others ).
and currently he is working on a remake of Driller.

I'd say : GO OVINE !

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO what a ride'

We are working on v.2 of paradroid at the mo with a few fixes (not many) and a few changes people have badgered us about.
Total eclipse and cholo where a good laff todo too, glad ya enjoyed em.
Doing a new version of antiriad at the mo with new gfx .
I heard a class remix of warhawk on slay a few month ago and decided to remake the thing using the tune (by q i think - great tune and hope ya dont mind me using it) -
You can grab warhawk and a bunch of other c64 remakes ive done (delta, hawkeye, aztec challenge, fire ant, monty on the run, eagles nest etc etc)
