oh thank you all for your sweet wishes *hugs*
It has been a hectic but a very fun day!
It all started with that there Slaygon type dude fella who wanted to do an impromtu late (early monday morning). Great show and all that and I fell asleep at aprox 5.30-6'ish in the morning.. *yawn*
At 9 am the doorbell rang and I didnt get what the noice was all about so it took me a while to get to the door.. Outside stood a woman that I worked with some 5-6 years ago and she remembered my birthday (collective AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW ). Not only did she remember it - she brought me breakfast! (AWWWWWWW - again) I love those kind of surprises!
Ah well the day goes by - fix dinner for 12 people - go grocerieshopping for stuff that I forgot (damn gold fish memory!)
The 12 people arrive - family .. so far so good
And then - when we have eaten and I am thinking to myself "oh I will have to eat this food for 2 weeks!!" the doorbell rings yet again... AND outside is some girl friends that I also havent seen for a while - YAY! They ate the food... I didnt overcook afterall!
Now, when its 10.30 pm and after doing the dishes from a dinner with about 20 people I'm sitting here with a glass of red wine and just enjoying myself .. Im so sleeepy tho that it wont take long for me to fall asleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep toniteeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
