There are four of you stood around a bus stop in the mid night performing a barber shop quartet of Ghosts and Goblins

And, I should add, even doing an impersonation of those drums in that tune, hehe. Wish I'd recorded that now! Visa Roster we certainly weren't, but it was good fun :)

Back to the subject: You know ur a remix nerd when...

...you listen to [exturl=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_MveyqsTgE]this[/exturl], and at about 0:30 you suddenly go like: "Hey, this sounds just like Last Ninja 2!"

Indeed on the Last Ninja, although to take that one step further I now hear all sorts of C64 Remix type beats and sounds when I listen to the A State of Trance podcast: http://www3.armadamusic.com/podcasts/

Though to be completely honest, I never did listen to much techno/trance type music before getting in to C64 remixes. Now I like it.

Oh - and to add my own, you know you're a Remix Nerd when you think the song in this video would make a good backdrop to a SID remix: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUfONVpMn4Q

...when you can post C64 remix tunes up you've found, on THE forum of C64 remixers, and and none of them knows what it is! hehe It's happened to me twice now and a 3rd is incoming but I don't wanna spam the forum with 'anyone know this tune' so I'm waiting :)

I'm the same with the whole hearing last ninja or whatever tunes, in everything. My ears are constantly hearing sounds or phrases in music which I think omg that's from XYZ on the 64! I can't figure out if they really ARE or if I'm just seeing it in everything when it's not really there hehe.
