The University of Dundee are awarding him a Doctorate of Music, so officially Dr Rob Hubbard:

And not a day too soon, I may add.

Pity it's only honourary. But merited all the same.

Run some SIDs through quality orchestral romplers for Kontakt and the like - to hear and appreciate afresh -and you really hear just how good these guys were.

Rob has really been studying and doing exams in music theory, he's well up-to-date.

He's now working actively on "Symphony 64" with me. Commie, I sent you a PM quite a while ago with a preview link to one track (though I have much better recordings available now).

I only just saw this by coincidence. But that's a well earned title. And about time that he and the type of merit get acknowledged. I hope this leads to traction for the rest of the composers in the gaming industry.
