SID sounds great in a commercial album :-)

Post by Ferrara »

Now I'm not claiming to be following the career of a member from a
known boyband, but I almost fell to my chair when I first heard JC Chasez's
first solo album's hitsong "All day I dream about sex".

It can be heard completely at his website at http://www.jcchasez.net/.

Just select the track from the top of the page and press play. Then wait
until 3:40 and enjoy :) Sounds very cool !

He spends all day dreaming about having sex with ... me?!

The guy needs to get out more!

Seriously though, cool SIDDY section later in that track - well spotted! And nice to see you on this board Tony - I remember your magnificent C64 remix XM's that you released a while back. Great stuff! Have you done any remixes recently?

hi Kenz! (and of course, everybody reading this :) )

I don't know how I haven't noticed you replied to my post, so sorry for this "a bit" late reply..

It's been almost five years since I last released a remix :(
I've had some ideas of this and that and while years went by
the quality of released remixes have raised the bar so high
that I'm not so confident of releasing new remixes anymore.

It seems I would have to buy Reason or something similar to
get even close to the quality of some stuff available in RKO.

On a more positive note, I recently got my first MIDI controller ever,
M-Audio Keystation 49e. I've been fiddling with Renoise ever since.
I don't know if anything comes out of it, but it has been interesting.

I still have two or three of my old .XM -remixes still unremastered and
unre-released but I doubt they would make "valid" releases anymore :?

Today someone bumped his/her car against my car while it was parked
in a parking slot and drove away so life never get's boring I'm afraid.

Tough luck this time.

Would you mind to share "Betas" with those awful guys here who always love to rip pre-releases to shreds? ;)

Don't fear the "quality-filter". If you are still able to do something like "Ferrara - Warhawk (sadmix)" (which is still in my favorite playlist)... please try it. :D

P.S.: Sorry to hear about that "accident". I wish you more luck from now on.
All is lost.

If you had a mega high digital reproduction of the mona lisa - would you need the original anymore ?

Its Art...

Music is no different.

The skill is in the hands, not the tools ;)
