Hi guys ive got a excellent condition commodore 64 with sound expander fm module, sound studio software and the ultra rare music expansion system 5 octave keyboard :))))
Ive had this since new and its hardly been out the box and was wondering if this was worth any kind of real money
I don't want to put it on ebay and get £6.83 for it as i would rather keep it if that was the case
anyone know how much this bad boy is worth

If my Ebay travels are anything to go by, perhaps you'll not get more than £50-100. But in mint condition, who knows.

If you're into your chipmusic it's a certain keeper. Especially if you want MIDI on it: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8231

Hello all, I am Charlie Armour and I compose music for video games, I used to play the old piano back when I was young then decided to work with my brothers Amiga 500 on the famous Soundtracker. Now I compose music on the more traditional music software cubase but still venture into using the old software now and then.

Good to be here!!!!!

Hello everyone!

After a long hiatus I'm slowly lurking back to the Amiga and Commodore scene...

My last "post" was in Dictators but this is so long ago now that all is forgotten ;)

Have recently build a hardware SID player and is now making a hardware tracker player based on the Paula chip and an ATMega 328p.
Mods and sidtunes doesn't sound right without hardware imho ;)

Anyhow - have a small thing going on where I want to play tribute to the old demo scene by re-using mods and sidtunes in a modern production.
Any clues as how to proceed legally?

I certainly would like to use some tunes by Firefox and a few others but contacting all these guys seems hard when info is seldom updated...

Any help is appreciated!

It's a tough judgment call if you can't find them, but generally if your use is credited, non-commercial and respectful, people don't tend to mind. It's always better to ask, though.

This is where the snag is.

It's not commercial initially but it might be down the road.
This is why I need to contact the people who's behind the tunes.
Credit where credit due but I can't promise any money.

Unsure about forum rules so I'm not writing any requests for participants yet - must consult forum rules first!

Hi, I'm Raaj, a random Amiga admirer living in Strasbourg FRANCE.
I recently discovered this site and I'm loving every second of it. "Formidable work" guys (and gals).
Now I can work (developer/cognitivist) with fabulous music in the background. What would be just perfect would be a 'random(?) track player' associated to this site. "A bon entendeur"
Keep up the good work.

PS Amiga rulz (...my heart, anyway)

Hi all out of there.

New here, so it's time to introduce:

Name: DJ Arvy
from: Germany
Age: 36

former Amiga-Scener from the early-Mid 90's, always addicted to music and Amiga Mods. I did my first mod in 1992 and my last in 1996.

Now I discovered that tracking is possible with OpenMPT and that some of my crappy Tunes are on the Internet.....strange....so the "fever got me" and I played around again. As a long-time-lover of house and trance music, I hope to give you some taste soon. Just upped a little try to remix the good old Xenon II Music. Hope you like it:-)

Cu all :D
