Michael Geiss was JMJ's sound designer. So he would come up with the sounds or design instruments Jarre wanted.

Alan Wilder had a lot of input in Depeche Mode. Basically, Dave was the singer, Martin wrote the songs, Fletch did the promo work and Alan mixed the final songs, produce the live backing tracks as well as designing some of the sounds in collaboration with which ever producer they were working with. I think that's why he left in the end because he wasn't given enough kudos for all this work he did behind the scenes with the band. It kinda show now too they rely too much on what producer they chose dicates what their sound will be come. Still a great live band though!

I apologize if bringing up old topics here is frowned upon, but I just discovered this discussion in trying to find a link to one of my favorite C64 arrangements to share with a friend. A few of the removed items are excellent, in my opinion, and I hope those ones have new versions coming.

Incidentally, the specific song I wanted to link to in this case was "Deliverance (Wintermute 707)."

Hey c5, it isn't frowned upon if it's relevant so all is good. I've checked my archives, unfortunately I don't have it. Maybe you can try contacting ifadeo directly?
