I met Paul for the first time last year at the Retrovision event in Oxford. He was really nice, genuine and warm. I was astonished to find at that not only did he live a mile down the road from me, but he also was a member of the cool cracking group Zeropage, which is how I first got introduced to some of the major C64 titles such as Exploding Fist, Uridium and Hypersports. He was my hero and I didn't even know it!! I'm sad that I won't get to spend that time with him again this year :(

I salute him for all his wonderful C64 work and for his bravery and warmth.

RIP Paul,

I met Skitz a few times, BIT Lives and Z-Shows, and he was a lovely bloke very modest about his own abilities.

I remember him letting our little group crash at his place just before our trip to Sweden (Slay Gathering 2006). He was a warm, friendly and funny guy who always had an eye on the opportunity to party.

We will all miss you, mate. My condolences to his family and friends.

As Skitz would say "CHAPMAN?...he's a PONCE!"

Rest in peace, my friend.

Mega shock when I just read this at Slay radio. Skitz will be missed as he was such a great c64 character and DJ. I've met him a few times at BIT, so I'm glad I did.

I few memories of Skitz on the Z show that always put a smile on my face are:
The 'What's that sound' when he sets fire to his face with a match! Boz just Laughs!!
Hearing him smoking outside the window and no ones talking to him, but he shouts 'I cant F**king Hear You!!'

Genius!

Remember Skitz...... they look prettier when you're drunk!

RIP Buddy.

Dogs.

I didn't get a chance to communicate with DJ Skitz online before, but I have heard of the Slay radio. I'm terribly sorry to hear that he recently passed away from a brain tumor. =( He will be missed. :sadnod:

Will be sadly missed :(

As many others Skitz didn't know me but hell he made my evenings mental.

Expect he's making some awesome remixes up there right now.
