8 - Last Ninja
12 - Donkey Kong
14 - Commando
15 - Pole Position
16 - International Karate
11 - OutRun
18 - Impossible Mission

I'm sure more will come to me.

3 is Skool Daze, isn't it?

I know that's not what you asked for. But that's what I know, plus the Last Ninja one.

Nice quiz.

he's got all those, just needs 2,5,6,7,9,13

number 6 has a BBC micro or Amstrad look to the colors. I'm betting BBC, very wide pixels.

Did the usual 8-bits that much resemble acid trips? I never noticed as much then though I do remember noticing the flicker.

I'm truly glad I was a Commie boy.

all of the machines had their pros and con's.. the screen above could just have easily been Bazooka Bill.. The amstrad had a nice color set, though a little bright.. look at gryzor or robocop on the amstrad compared to our 64's.. the BBC did kick ass vectors for the time ( elite on the beeb was beyond a doubt the best version, the c64 dragging its ass ), and the c64 ruled for scrolling and sound..

That was lovely.

And I swear the Commie's palette is more austere than the garish shades of other machines. Which works all the better when you start shading.

Well, you all saw my images didn't you.

The Beeb may have had better vectoring but it didn't know what day it was for photo graphics. Not that anyone noticed.

heh, couldn't imagine pulling photo graphics off tape anyway, the man's a masochist!!

what about the Atari for a nice color set, I always thought my 64, while it had a good color set, always looked dull, as if it lacked luminesence.. much like the dragon always looked green because of it screen setup.

The Ataris always did look more vibrant, yes. My overriding first impression of the C64 was of a kind of brown-ness in the games, the graphics looked kind of... well, softer isn't quite the right word. You could cut yourself on some of the graphics on the Atari 400/800/XL, but the C64 graphics would merely graze you a bit.
