Commodore Remix

Video game music composer and surround sound guru Rik Ede is running a Kickstarter campaign to produce a 5.1 surround music DVD with music by (at least) 17 different video game music composers. The composers include many well-known names from the C64 and Amiga: Andrew Barnabas, Matt Furniss, Tim Haywood, Mark Knight, Jason Page, Jeroen Tel and Tim Wright.

There will be everything from Chiptune to big orchestral adventures, electronic and acoustic music. All produced and mixed in 5.1 surround sound. Most of the tunes will be completely new and never heard anywhere else before, others will be reworked tracks and even a couple of classics for your listening pleasure!

Digging up the past here a little.. but anyone have any information on this project, backed it and no update or sign of Rik Ede anywhere.


*Update* - A little asking about and it seems that Rik is still very Ill .. So fingers crossed he gets better soon.
