Not yet: wondering what to say :) I don't sell it any more, and I'm kind of wondering why you want to buy it. Although it IS kind of retro now, and features some remixes now lost in the mists of time (such as those nuked from RKO in the big purge a while back).

Is there a tracklisting somewhere?

My goodness, forgot all about that (even though Kenz supplied the labels to BIT 1 and 2 CD ROMs)...

Well, you heard the man, buy it off him :)

Er, no.

however, by a weird coincidence, CD-ROM 2 is mirrored at:

http://c64audio.i12.com and I can't actually remove it or edit the pages...

(lost the account details, and you need to be logged in via their dial-up to actually do anything)...

I'd just like to add my 2 cent on the CD...

I ordered from the Visa Röster website (sorry, but couldn't wait until it showed up elsewhere, plus it just was a lot cheaper this way and I could use PayPal) and was surprised by the incredly speedy delivery: 2 days from Sweden to Germany, wow.

Anyway, I encourage everyone to buy a copy: It's very fine stuff (no surpise at all, obviously)! I didn't realize that about half of the CD are the great songs to be found on RKO like the most brilliant Comic Bakery piece done with O2...

Surprisingly, when I put the CD in my PC drive, the album was already listed in the database used by Winamp.

Me am happy now.

Ulrich.

Ordered my copy from Chris this morning. Like a lot of people on here, I've got quite a few of the tracks from RKO but I just HAD to get the CD.

You've done some fantastic work guys and I can't wait to hear more!

Thanks Schlicky, I'll get that in the post to you tomorrow. :)

Do you have the SECOND Bit companion by the way?

(I also did the Bit3 companion CD-ROM - and rather proud I am of that too).

BIT 1 and 2 used to have companion CDRs, which were nothing to do with the CD really: they were just compendiums of all the C64 remix MP3s around at that time. So CDR 1 is a pretty comprehensive collection of C64 MP3 remixes around 1998 (most of which are mine!), and the second one is pretty much all the C64 remixes I knew about at the tail end of 1999 (this is pre-RKO, remember). 2000 was the time that things started to get crazy.

You can browse the second CDR at http://c64audio.i12.com

Kenz, I do still have the second companion CD, but, if you have it with its own inlay, etc, etc, I might get a second copy for backup / retro sake.

What I'll do is send you the inlay for the second CD so you'll have the matching set. :)

I've just realised I'm almost as retro now as the SIDs...
