PLAY EXPO has been announced for 2012 - it will be held at EVENT CITY in manchester between the 13th and 14th of october - official site www.playexpo.net
Event City is close to the Trafford Centre, a few miles outside Manchester city centre.
There's a regular bus service every 10-15 minutes from Manchester City Centre, which is the 250 (stops at all stops) and X50 (limited stops) and the last bus back is at 0010, so if there's an evening event on, you should still be able to get back to the city.
There are 3 Premier Inns and 1 Travelodge close to the Trafford Centre, which are all walkable to the event venue if you want to stay somewhere close, the choice is yours!
Might have to put a space in the diary for that!
