madfiddler and 4-4-2 need you!!!

Post by madfiddler »

Sorry, this is a bit off topic to anything 64 remix like, but it is a remix anyway.

I'm playing on the unofficial Euro 2004 single for the England team, Come On England.

Rather than repeat myself yet again :) Here's the full story here,

http://www.burbs.co.uk/4-4-2.html

but it any of you UKers feel like spending less than a pint of beer to help try and get the single up to No.1, then can you pre-order from HMV?

Thanks peeps,

mad

Hey due to this spam, I've also spammed my footy team messageboard about it. Hope that helps :)

Well it could be adapted to Come On Sweden ;)

Yeah, please post about this where ever you can... See if an unsigned group of 30+ ugly balding people can break into the charts lol

i think it has every chance of doing well. I certainly have visions of "Come on England" screaming over the terraces come the Euro's.

soemhow "One hit" and "wonder" does spring to mind tho ;)

Of course - If you read the news, you'd see that the band has been put together specifically to record this song, and that's it.

Well anything has to be better than re-releasing the Farm's "All Together Now". Even before it became the official England song of Euro 2004, Everton FC used it as their 1995 FA Cup single (where they beat The Scum 1-0, YES!) and it was just as poor then as it is now. What a bad choice, so I'm sure Mark's band might just get a few people going.

Mind you, no footy song gets close to New Order's "World in Motion", just an ace tune and one I'd play before every England game in Italia 1990, I even wore the t-shirt (wish I still had it) for the games. Even with John Barnes rapping ;)
