Boz and Chris's "Worst SIDs ever"

Post by Chris Abbott »

A 15 minute radio show devoted to the worst of SID, downloadable in MP3.

We'd been threatening to do it for some time, and now we have.

Download from:

http://www.newagemoods.com/radio/worst_ ... 56kbps.mp3
(56kbps, mono, 7Mb)
or
http://www.newagemoods.com/radio/worst_sids_ever.mp3
(variable bitrate, stereo, 21Mb)

Enjoy!

This is indeed an amazing collection of toe-curling, seat-squirming SIDs, otherwise known as "The Wrong SIDs".

But the funniest thing, SIDs aside, are your comments guys, I probably woke up my neighbours in the middle of the night with my hysterical laughter :D :D :D tears 'n all.

I will save and cherish this radioshow and play it in those moments when I feel down and use it to bring a smile to my face :D

I'm in the process of gathering energy to get through all of this radio show! So far, I've only heard 50 seconds of it, and I guess I need to be focused and on top to complete the task of listening to the whole thing... Today, I didn't manage... I guess I'll die another day. :) I'll get back to you when I'm up to the challenge again!

Um

Post by Chris Abbott »

Um, it's not all like the first minute (which is the intentionally crap montage of crap SIDs which aren't even in the list): that's just the theme tune to the show! The rest is a bit more easygoing... you probably knew this anyway, but the first minute isn't particularly representative!

Thanks!

Chris,

This totally cracked me up. Especially the "crap crap crap" bit in between Manic Miner - just brilliant. :D

After all my bad vibes lately, thanks to your little show, I have seen that there are alot more tunes out there that are *really* rubbish and deserve a "bad" voting. Thanks! You made my day with this.

Worst remixes ever

Post by Chris Abbott »

Just wait until we do the sister show, worst remixes ever... that will set the fur flying :) I wonder which departed arranger will feature quite heavily? :) It has to be said that Jan did a great job of cleaning RKO, in that all the worst remixes have now gone. I'm just glad I downloaded them before that happened :)

Avatars

Has anyone else noticed that when someone uses an Avatar, the expression on it colours how you interpret their message?

DHS's avatar looks so cool and detached, I imagined him saying "funny" with that expression: which would be a whole lot different probably to his real expression at the time.

Also Raf's avatar makes me read his words in a certain way, even though I shouldn't :)

Then I guess mine would imply every post was written in a drunken state :)

Eh???

Chris,

Are you implying that you're reading my posts with a specific voice in mind or does the arrogant look of the avatar make you think - what a snoddy b******!

Either way, the pic might not even be of me - who knows?

Well, maybe the pic was taken when I noticed that X-out dropped by 8%.
