Happy Bírthday COMMODORE ZONE!!

Post by Kenz »

Blimey and crikey, it's TEN YEARS since issue 1 of my lil' mag appeared! So to celebrate that fact I've released a CD-ROM which features ALL the issues (scanned by Mort) and a brand new Web-Book version of issue 1 which is REALLY neat (you have to SEE it to appreciate it's neatness!) :)

Cor, well done on remembering that! Issue #$00 was only 4 pages long I think (1 sheet of A4). It was done as a test on a laser printer which I had (very) limited access to. I've not seen it for YEARS! If I can find it then I'll pop it on as a curio! :)

Wait til you see the Web-Book version of issue 1, I can't stop playing with it! (oo-er!)

This is turning into a very long list of stuff to buy! :)

I'll have one of those, please Mr Kenz! Plus, my C64DTV if it arrives before Bitlite.

Not tried your local Argos, Paul? They have them in stock. It's catalogue number 369/1715 and retails for £19-99. Bit like Dr. Martens boots used to in the Alexei Sayle classic tune ;)

Manchester Arndale and Ancoats both have them in stock (for anyone coming to BITLite and wants one), and so do both branches in Grimsby, just FYI.

Mmm, but Argos don't need any more money... support your practically-less-than-local-but-still-spiritually-local Kenz!

Armed with that info, I would probably be beating down the doors of Argos in a couple of hours time but I pre-ordered from the Kenzmeister a while back. :)

That clapped-out milk float which is shipping all of Kenz's DTVs is seemingly still delivering milk....

Hehe, I wonder if the "two idiots, one thought" is relevant here.... :)

I'm pestering the distributors on a daily basis about the C64DTVs - They still ain't "officially" available - but try telling that to an uberstore like Argos. :(

On a lighter note, I found Issue #$00 of CZone and have added it to the CD-ROM. :)

I've been in an Argos Extra in Grimsby tonight and picked one up for £19.99 (not for me as mine is from your good self but for a very good friend of mine). Plus, the one I bought was shipped from Argos in Milton Springsteen to Grimsby so Skitz might know a bit about that too! :)
