Eliminator

Post by LaLa »

We need more Eliminator remixes!

I've been listening to JT's SIDs again (inspired by his awesome performance at BIT Live 2007), and I was stunned to realize that there's only one lonely remix of Eliminator out there, even though the SID is #71 on the Top 100 SIDs of all times. I can't understand why no remixes, it's just as groovy as his other works.

Personally I found subtune #1 of Eliminator a bit repetitive at times, and didn't enjoy that SID as much as some of Jeroen's others at the time. The title tune is pretty nice though and that might be worth a go.

Never a big fan of slap bass sounds...not sure why but not crazy about them.

Well, I felt it just *HAD* to be fairly slap-happy because of
a) the source tune
b) the tune that gets mixed in with it, and
c) the bass needed a lot of presence, since it was doing most of the work

I've uploaded a final version (7m 48! W00t!) to RKO...
