There seems to be some problems with the entire "music" section of remix64.com right now.

http://www.remix64.com/cd_charts.html generates 404.

http://www.remix64.com/memberdir.html generates the following error message for me:

Hi LMan,

I noticed that in the Remix64 music database words (or in this case names) which include special characters like german Umlaute are broken off after the previous character. For example "Chris Hülsbeck" became "Chris H", "Lars Hård" became "Lars H" and our dear friend "Kent Walldén" became "Kent Walld" and so on.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think that wasn't the case in the past. Maybe the special character would have been replaced by a "valid" one but the word wouldn't have been broken off...

Greetz, Monty

You'll have got that because a spammer added a post (triggering the email), but it the post was deleted before you looked at the topic. This happens to me often.

I wont bother to test it either ... but a little strange to have that option for a regular user.
On the other hand, everyone here knows how to behave ... so why not!

Well, we've decided to allow stickies to regular users and as long as we see that it's not misused, we'll keep it that way. If we see that something is put as sticky which shouldn't be, we can easily unstick it if we want to.

...and yes, C64Glen was completely correct in his description of the bumped thread notifications. I deleted the spammer quite quickly after he had pushed 20 messages into the system, which had rendered a bunch of notifications being sent out...
