FL Studio protip

Post by Mordi »

I just discovered something very useful which solved something that has been bothering me for the last year or so in FL Studio. Thought I'd share for those who use FL.

If you are getting buffer underruns (crackling because processor can't handle the amount of instruments/effects), make sure "smart disable" is on in the audio settings, and then go to Tools > Macros > "Switch smart disable for all plugins". For some reason I am now able to play back my tune with my CPU running at 30%, as opposed to before when it would go straight to 99%!

Thanks Mordi.

Now if they could get setting up a 1 shot sample easier :) Sometimes I just want to drop in a sample that I can use as instrument without having to tweak the sustain.
