Very neat Mordi, and as always razor sharp . Only a few composers handle lead synths like this, Audiomonster from the 'Silents' was a good example, and you're right there along side him in my book. ( Damn, it's smooth..effortless almost ) Awesome work..

Thanks! I'll have to check out Audiomonster.

Thanks. It is incredibly easy to have simple yet effective guitar parts and layering them, as long as you can edit it afterwards. I'm new to mostly acoustic recording so it's fun to discover that kind of stuff. I had to ditch FL Studio because of this. One of the first things I wanted to do after acquiring an electric guitar was to find out how to do those funky, muted notes which were used in many 70's funk songs.

Post this back in time to yourself to take to EMI and you'd have a flash car by '85!

It's a lovely piece and just shows what you can do 'in the box' these days.

Well that's what I thought until I couldn't get back in, nor receive my password reminder. Now I'm just my own clone, coming and going as if nobody noticed.

The lead in this one consists of one simple saw wave oscillator, one LFO and one low-pass filter. It's really, really simple. I am automating the filter cutoff and the LFO-amplitude by hand. Also, since releasing this version, I made it so that the higher the cutoff on the filter is, the lower the volume of the oscillator is. This really helped in balancing it out. It sounds like a completely transparent compressor.
