> So more than likely SID80's last final too.

A sad loss to C64 music. That's one studio album I'd get really excited about!

Sad to hear, but not surprising I guess, I dread to think about how much effort and expense must be involved in organising these concerts -- much kudos to you Chris for putting yourself through it.

At least we'll (hopefully) be able to relive the concerts through the BITLive DVD..!

Frankly everyone seems a lot less surprised than me about it!

I guess it's good to go out at the top, creatively speaking. This will be a cutting-edge C64 concert to top them all.

Relax Volsa, you got the EXCELLENT Dr Future to possibly put on another Bitlive Germany !! :)

Ive no doubt at all given how popular the Bitlives have been, that at some future point some1 else will come up with a live sid show... just that it wont be called bitlive, and wont be run by the very excellent Mr Chris Abbott !!!

Need to find a lottery winner who likes SID :D

Well, it hasn't happened yet, so still time to jump on the bandwagon.

Why not seize the moment? I've said this before, but you'll feel so stupid in five years time when you've got more comfortable, and you'll think "I could have gone after all".

A wise man said that being broke is temporary, while being poor is a state of mind (one in which you never have any fun).

Chris, I dislike the idea to borrow money that I can't pay back (I already owe a hefty sum to relatives) and that would be the only way to get anything done...
except starting to stalk drug dealers & the like, beat them up and take their money...
So it's no London, no BitLive. Hell, I can't even afford to travel as far as Hamburg. Without a job this will never change.

I want to make a party to combine things.

That means demo competition, music, graphics, fun.
And performances, and music awards.

People can only enter with other machines than C64, if they are musicians.

The computers go in one side of the hall, the other one is for bar, sofas, dancefloor etc. Seperate sleeping place.

Only people who are invited by another scener can join.

No gamers, no lamers!

Back to the roots, plain and simple.
No Assembly, The Party crap. No more..

Well, thats the beauty of BITLIVE!!!!

it's not aimed at a specific group of people, but it's aimed at the WHOLE c64 community.

I for one and i know quite a few more wouldn't be going if it was anything like you mentioned above rambones.

anyway c64audio.com and indeed remix64 has none or little to do with Demo's or Graphics or anything other than SID and it's music!

I'd like to see something along those lines too ^^ I really enjoyed the first few at Gosips but Brighton left me a little lukewarm.. Sadly I can't make this year as I'm not able to travel for a couple of weeks come friday, but I'd like to see something along the lines on the old PCW shows combined with music and games.. Now that was the life beer.. Music and computers.. Ahhh what more could a man want.. No I don't need answers I'm sure we can all work out what your thinking Kenz.. tisk..

Hope it all goes well and hope to see you all at the next one.
