Actually I was the only Hardcore Techno/Rave guy at the time we founded Kefrens, and it took some time to convince them that it was OK to use it in their demos ... they finaly admitted to like Techno and Rave too

I don't count that as robot voices... you can hear her real voice on top of this multi-pitched effect... in fact I think it sound ok, though I'd have liked to have some instruments there too...

I'm going to build one of these I think... it's so darn easy, and cost next to nothing. The whole secret with this is just that it replace your vocal cord inside your mouth... pretty neat
