Remix Band Yet Again

I (Darren Izzard, occasional remixer) ask this after almost every BITLive, but does anyone want to form up a remix band with me? Every time it seems to fall through! (People lose interest quickly, I've found.)

Ideally I'd like to find people in my area (Kent) to form a band, but really people from anywhere as long as they are willing to play things approximating to C64 tunes (and possibly other platforms).

Come on, there's got to be *someone* out there who wants to be the next PPOT!!!!

I think you'll find the real reason why this doesn't exsist in the UK is simply that you can count the remixers out there from the UK on one hand. Those who are able to play instruments live from the uk, probably on 1 finger!

Germany and scandinavia seem to have an abundance, but in the UK there are few.

Well, I'm starting a keyboard synth supergroup. So nyah! :)

Seriously. It's got Marcel and Mark Knight in it already, and I'm expecting Theo, Andre and Reyn to join any moment ;-)

Hey Darren, I liked to!
Since I couldn't take part in Bitlive 2004 and loved to I thought about similar things.
In fact thru the last years I'm much more used to playing live music than producing in the studio and the C64-fan community seems to be a lot bigger (and enthusiastic) audience than I ever had performing with my bands. :? :D
The problem is: I live in Duesseldorf, Germany and that's a few miles too much for the weekly rehearsal
But there is still the possibility to work by file exchange and stuff...
What do you think?
Ifadeo, what about you?

[Romeo] Yep, sure, we could do stuff by exchanging individual tracks...

[Tas] You're probably right, but I'd hate to die musically alone, never having stood up in front of a C64 audience, being pelted with rotten tomatoes.

Very Descartes! But, was that a comment or a willingness to join the band?!
