SkyMarshall Arts - Forever Gamer

Hello!

Thought I might share one of my songs with you.
It is not any remix at all, actually it is orignal work by me.
But it is inspired by my time on the Amiga and the games on it.
So I thought maybe it was relative to this category because of that.
Also the "music-vid" on YouTube features all the great games from way back then.
Oh, and the Mario outro is there because, well ... I thought it was a good way to end it.

Have a listen if you feel like it.

Thanks alot, a really coolt song  For some reason the song reminds me of the music from Apoptygma Berzerk/Fairlight Children...
Downloaded a few of the other songs as well wich was really good too!!!

Hope to hear more from you in the future.

Best regards

Astralia.

*** EDIT ***

Can you please explain this to be btw: I listened to your song Highlands and on your site the description is:
"Technically the most advanced tracker song I've got Good melody too.
Probably the song I like the most out of all the real old ones I've made."

But as far as i know it, this song was originally composed by !Cube (aka Tony Christer Lönnberg of Trauma Child Genesis) and the org. title is: Scotchman in a skirt. Source:

Just to clear up any missunderstanding!

Thanks for that one :) I really appreciate it. I plan on keeping future songs withing this style, its really fun to produce. And thanks for pointing me in the direction of Fairlight Children again!

And as for your edit, and "Highlands":
I am a little embarrassed to say that you are absolutely right, and all credit should go to Lönnberg. As I listened to the *.xm it became pretty clear to me that what I had done was remix it into a dance-tune, and the first 30seconds or so were pretty much identical. I had honestly forgot, and had a little "oh sh**"-episode here now. I made maybe around 130 complete songs in my time on TraxInSpace and trackers back then, and I truly dont remember which ones are remixes and what is original work. So, I decided to take down the "Tracker in Training" album until I know for sure what the origins are. It might not matter to anyone, but I am sure original artists at least wants to be credited properly when remixed/edited no matter how unsignificant it might be. That album contains what I think is the best of the 130 I made, and I have a feeling at least one of the other tracks are remixes, and that would be "The Dark Side". So until I get my facts straight, it's down!

Good find anyways, thanks for poining it out to me :)
The original mods are long lost to me, including my own

That's solvable if you go to ftp://modland.ziphoid.com/pub/modules/F ... /DJ%20Dark where you'll find some of the .xm's. :)

Well, the credits must go to Coma who runs Modland, a collection of about 360000+ modules. I just help him out with some bandwidth. :) There are people out there who spends a lot of time to collect these things and we should all appraise and respect them. :) Rock on!

I actually think I love you in ways only possible through pixels. In my case 1680x1050, which is quite a bit.
This made my day in more ways than one.

Anyway, respect should be given - and respect IS given.
