Haha  I'm just waiting for the right moment, the dance scene is slightly dead though... especially in Denmark.

I'm thinking more of using a C64 theme in an original song rather than actually a cover.

Maybe it's time to re-invent dance music, breathing new life into it :)

Yeah absolutely right

I'm personally just bored to death with dance music, so I'm having a break producing some rock music right now (which is my original background, believe it or not!) Playing drums in a hard core rock band before switching to bubble gum pop

I love rock! :D Especially the 'harder' side of rock :)

I think it's an interesting combination SID-fan & Rock-fan! SID-fan & Electronic Music-fan is more obvious.

"Obvious" doesn't always make the most interesting people though.

Actually I'm in to just about all sorts of music, some more than others. I mostly listen to metal though... I don't listen to much techno, trance, dance that sorta thing but if it is well done, I do :)

Like for instance your Robocop3 mix :D

I don't listen much to techno either, I'm more into a wide variety of music ranging from hip hop to classical, though I don't have any country & western (well maybe just one!)

I wouldn't actually classify the Dutch Breeze/Robocop3 remix as dance, more as "synth electro", though it's almost dance I suppose.

Check out Wire's latest album, Send, which is kind of hardcore heavy-metal dancefloor (or something). Very danceable, but also guitar-heavy and very _now_.

I didn't mean it was dance I just meant that general elctro area :)

Heh, it's typical producer-like to be all fuzzy about the genre names, I knew what you meant.

C ya, I'm heading off to dream land soon

I am SO bad with knowing what genre tunes are in... It was so much easier back in the good old days :)

And nitenite to you, sleep tight and so on and so forth...

Well, that's something I've been encouraging, too, as the publisher of
Rob, Martin, Ben, Dave, Paul, Fred, Matt, Mark, Richard, etc. :)
A C64 theme would make a damn good melodic hook.
