C64 on a plasma

I got together with my brother last weekend and convinced him to hook up an old C=64 to his new plasma TV. =)

His collection of disks isn't quite as large as when we were growing up, but we managed to play Ninja, Archon, Mail Order Monsters, and M.U.L.E. Archon holds up *very* well, and was a blast to play. MOM was nowhere near as good as I remembered it -- multiplayer was especially boring but maybe we're missing something.

After two intense games of M.U.L.E. though, and makes me remember why I think it may be one of the best multiplayer computer games ever made. It's almost a crime that games like this aren't available on consoles. If you get a chance, I highly recommend it as a party game. It support 4 players with two joysticks, and plays more like a European board game like Settlers of Cataan, but with a lot more opportunities to heckle and backstab each other. =)

Very cool!

Couldn't hook up my Amiga to my 42" Panasonic though, some kind of horizontal offset problem.

No probs hooking up either Amiga or C64 to my 42" plazzy (Techwood), not HD, but then, doesn't need to be yet.

I want to hook up my C64 to the LCD TV I have downstairs. Granted, it may not be as impressive as the above, but hey I'm still excited at the thought!
