Well, me for starters. :)

Also, finances permitting, my brother Jonathan might be making his 1st BITLive appearance. As Chris will testify to, Jonathan has wife, kids, mortgage, car & himself to look after so money's a bit tighter for him than me at the moment.... :(

Btw, Chris, I remember something mentioned on the old messageboard about the whereabouts of Steve Rowlands and whether he was to be making an appearance at BITLive 2 (London 2001). Was he ever tracked down and asked if he wanted to turn up? I remember you mentioned that there were rumours, if true, which weren't good.

Paul:

3-2 to Doncaster Rovers ;)

Sorry, had to say it LOL

The Rowlands Brothers... well, let's just say I never heard anything to dispel the rumours. However, they did recently get a programming job at a reputable software house... which promptly folded.

You gotta feel for them...

Chances of appearing at BIT Live? Low. The person that knows them most
is Andy Roberts, and he's not really optimistic.

You dirty smegging, smegging smegger :)

Yet another classic case of Grimsby f***ing it up when they were seemingly cruising at 2-0 up, 75 mins gone. Having 2 players sent off did a whole lot of good too....

Donny proved by getting back into the League that they were no pushovers and Grimsby paid the price with the players sent off.

Not looking forward to seeing my Dad this weekend as he is a huge Donny Rovers fan and will take great delight in rubbing it in. I wonder how much material he'll drag out of this one - I can hardly wait :)

Whoops! Forgot to login again

Not exactly the best of starts for Grimsby but, being a Town fan, I am the eternal optimist :)

We was the better team even before the two players were sent off to be honest. A freaky deflected goal and a bizarre penalty decision gave you a 2 goal lead. Quite unjustified lead it was too, since we were all over grimsby in the first half.

had to say Grismby have a massive hooligan element, i've never seen so much trouble at a donny game in 16 years. about 100 riot police on horses were called in!

we'll see you next year when we get promoted again! SEROUSLY!

Was watching the results service on Sky Sports News but they didn't report of any crowd trouble. Mind you, I did have the TV on mute all the time. :)

Seriously though, it doesn't surprise me about the hooligans you get from Grimsby. I remember them causing trouble at home when we played Aston Villa a few years ago in the FA Cup. It even got on Match of the Day but for all the wrong reasons.

I was checking every few minutes on SSN for goal flashes but didn't realise just how lucky Grimsby were to be ahead. I knew that Donny are an excellent side and were good enough to stage a comeback but it was whether Grimsby could keep them out. With 9 men and a c**p defence, it was only a matter of time :)
