Game tunes sold on CD's were a big thing in Japan/PlayStation Days. I guess this is the modern version of that.

The remix stuff has been on iTunes for _ages_. And Project Galway is there too, which means original game soundtracks. I guess it's true that "there are many firsts".

Plus, it's 80p a track for Digital download at c64audio.com, and that's never put me off! :D

Well, if people who read the Guardian blog haven't thought about looking for C64 tunes in the iTunes Store or elsewhere (original or remixed) they're not going to do so unless someone does a little guerilla marketing in the comment-section. Nudge, nudge.
