Well, I finally managed to get to Videogame Nation at Urbis in Manchester, and I have to say it's well worth a visit.

Highlights for me included:

* lots of historical documents and sketches of storyboards etc related to Ocean games such as Wizball, Platoon, Vindicator, Gryzor etc
* the video screen showing old documentaries, one about the making of Elite, one at how Imagine went bust and how Ocean were doing for the 1984 Christmas market and an old episode of Gamesmaster.
* Original artwork of Jet Set Willy and being able to play the Speccy version
* lots of arcade conversions of arcade games, and the arcade and C64 versions of Ghosts and Goblins to play (and yes I did sing the tune C64 style!)
* behind the scenes stuff about Sensible Software including an excellent promo shot of them all including the legend that always will be Richard Joseph
* original drawings of maps of the Dizzy games

And lots more. I took some pics too for you all to enjoy, and if you can get there, go and see it:

Thanks for sharing the photos. Wish I could only justify a return ticket to Manchester to see it up close before it closes.
