The good news is, There's hope of a new episode of History of Turrican very soon. The bad news is, I need to play through and beat Turrican 3 before that is possible.

I hope this is in the right part of the forum. Anyways, any help in the form of cheat advice, pokage or general digital underhandedness would be greatly appreciated.

Play the game a lot over a period of time, and see if you can spot any things happening which, if exploited, might result in a greater score and/or progress.
