Help wanting to run Atari Trakball on the ST or Amiga!

I want to build a couple of adapters to run my joystick-pinned Atari Trakball on the ST and Amiga mouse ports. Blue Sky modded for the ST and I found a few pin diagrams which should help me out.

DB9 joysticks don't work as mice yet the pin diagrams suggest the connections are the same. So can someone confirm which pins I really do have to exchange?
