Uncle Art: A Temporal Shift
Apparently, Dave Lowe made a remix album a few years back. Yeah, I didn't know about it, either. Apparently, he made it together with his daughter. And apparently, there is a movie, too!

Karma64
by Chris Abbott and Alistair Bowness (Boz)
This CD is really four albums in one. First, it presents dance versions of popular C64 tunes which were first put together to be played at the very first Back in Time live event. Second, it presents what we regard as the ultimate versions of tunes which first featured on "Back in Time 1", such as Crazy Comets, or Monty on the Run. Third, it brings a new and experimental vibe to some popular pieces like Wizball and Mutants. And lastly, it is a testing ground for some of the ear-candy New Age ideas that later found their way into Crystal Dreamscapes.

Comic Bakery (feat Hanna Kappelin & Morpheus)
Arranged by o2
The vocals are a VERY nice touch and the section of the tune where everything seems to go wrong and conk out is brilliantly done and definitely appeals to my somewhat warped sense of humour. The tune soon picks itself up after that and delivers and thoroughly lovely cover of Comic Bakery with fantastic powerful synth lead sounds, classy vocals, superb Kraftwerk-esque percussion, sexy sequencers and lots of other assorted ear-candy. Oh and it's a Galway track too - things just don't get much better than this!
To sum up, this is possibly one of the finest covers of Comic Bakery I've ever heard and this is definitely one of my favourite Commodore 64 remixes released in 2004 so far. Well done to everyone involved with this remix, it's gonna be a tough one to top I reckon!

It's a Noisy Pillars Tune 2 (Ketchup Girls Mix)
Arranged by DJ Mitch
The start of this remix made me check if Pet Shop Boys had got into my playlist. Near copying the start, I was afraid of this getting in violation with the copyrights.
But then it woke up. It sounds like a fresh take on the song, and there isnt a trace of Ketchup in it.
The reverb could have been dampened somewhat, there is a lot of sound hitting the ear, but all in all, its a great soundtrack feel to it.
Best used when fealing down after a sin...

Arranged by MASTER BOOT RECORD
But I think the real highlight of this remix is the clever re-arrangement of the tune, I really appreciate the effort that went into that. The more I listen to it, the more I like it.
