The name SIDrip Alliance should be pretty familiar already to everybody who follows the C64 remix scene. Since their debut concert in 2010 at the ÁROK#12 Party this Hungarian group has been very active, with live performances at parties like Function, Revision, and, of course, they have become a regular staple at Árok. Their members - Chabee, Hermit, NecroPolo, Vincenzo, Werdy - have been producing many remixes that are all available on RKO. And now, exactly 5 years after they first got together they have come out with an album of their own.

30/03/2010Let's establish something up front: RakBIT is a great prog-rock album and it's even better that all of its tracks are SID remixes. If you liked the organic- acoustic soundscapes of Reyn's Nexus 6581, I guarantee you'll like NecroPolo's pieces, too.

Mr. Consistant. Mixer produces some fine remakes that constantly pulls votes of around 70% in the charts. All Mixers remakes are well worth downloading.

Jeff mastered the SID chip like few others. The early 90s, a time when many people abandoned the c64, Jeff just kicked off. He released impressive SID works for various demos and groups. The best thing about it: he is still very active in the c64 scene: making music, and even coding his own SID editor.
