Real good guitar and synth adaptions but a too small arrangement
Rockin! A great mix of an awesome SID. I'd like to see it mixed more. Some of the lead samples are a little tinny but overall I think it works well. Awesome!
Technically good, but no Platoon feel to it! Sounds more like Magnum!

Strangely New order in style at parts, but it kinda works, if only let down by some very basic sounds. The powerful baseline is overlapped by some weak lead instruments, which is mainly one of the reasons why i rate this so low. The concept isn't that bad and the 80's idea in well visualised. Overall there just isn't enough highlights in the tune to maintain any interest for too long.

I think there's more to Jonathan Dunn's original piece than what this cover
shows of it. First I'd throw out that thin and shrieky lead and replace it
with something of more authority. Then I'd add more punch to the supporting
instruments. I dig the bassline a lot, so I'd keep that. I'd also keep the
beginning, it works really well, but I'd shorten it a bit to get to the point
(the melody) faster. All in all, I think Marsland needs to spend more time on
perfecting this cover.
