Builds up great carribean atmosphere - Guybrush meets Outrun. Lacks a bit on the technical side.
Added to my collection.
Remember when you got your first crappy synthesizer and it had a Demo button that played a cheesy Midi tune? .. Yeh.. Thats what this reminds me of.

Cool, you must (or should) be a drummer

I don't know if the 'casio' sound was intentional, but i think with better quality gear this would be better.
IMHO the tune itself can't carry a piece this long on itself, but the percussion in particular the 'improvisation' at around 2:30 keep it interesting.

Overall a very rhythmic piece which i like.

There's some nice touches in this remix by Ghost, especially concerning the drums which work tremendously well.

The typical carribean lead work well with the tunes ethos, tho it does sound at times a little flat and disconcerning.

It's a valliant effort, but at times the remix suffers from sounding a little Midi sounding.

Steel drums galore - which is understandable. The idea of a Caribbean-style
tune is novel but it wears thin pretty fast. There's only so much you can do
with steel drums. If this remix was only half this long it would've had more
punch. Plus I think the mixing of the tune could use some help to boost the
sounds of the steel drums which sound dry and a bit too distant.
