Bubble Bobble (Live!) - arranged by Hampshire Regional High SchoolReview by wishbone, 06/07/2006 Now this is damn funny. I wonder how it got made. Maybe the band conductor is a C64 fan. This is the kind of stuff that just doesn't happen, because getting that many "ordinary" people (not that we C64 fans are all complete freaks) to play C64 tunes is all but impossible.One thing noone have mentioned is that this is not just a remix of Bubble Bobble, but also of New Zealand Story. I think this is important since it is the ONLY New Zealand Story remix at RKO, although hard to find since all its information relates to Bubble Bobble only. |

Auf Wiedersehen Monty (Fruity Mix) - arranged by XORReview by wishbone, 04/11/2003 This is a great remix, with one major exception: the instrument used for the main theme is much too weak. It sounds more like a background string than a lead instrument. This is a pity, because otherwise, this is one of the best remixes I've ever heard of Auf Wiedersehen Monty. It manages to capture the feel of the original, while keeping its own distinct style. A real tribute to one of my favourite C64 classics of all time. |
