It is amazing how close and also how distant this recording is from the original SID. Part minimalism, part jazz and ambience, the uniqueness of the whole piece leave me astonished. This remix is just a tiny expansion of the original SID, the right amount of stuff added on the right place rather a sublte way, but also it puts everything in a 3D and organic soundscape that makes quite a dramatic effect. Also it reminds me of how jaw-dropping the original SID was already. On a footnote, let me say that it is a pleasure to see such a distinctive styled SID composer coming back to the scene after a decade of aebsence.

At first I was like, no, please don't play with it, the original is a thing of such beauty but I have to say, I enjoy the enhanced version very much. Glad you went brass not guitar for the lead.
