The elements of a really great remix are all here. All that's needed is an actual orchestra to play the notes. As it stands, MIDI just can't really do justice to what I believe Toni is trying to accomplish here.

To me it sounds like Giana Sisters with a rather unfortunate choice of instruments. The mixture of flutes and synthetical e-guitars, heavily sliding and equipped with vibrato, is too wild for my taste.

Back to the beat-music era. A touch of Beatles, too, maybe. I can certainly imagine them playing it. Nice new angle on the same old tune, but overall, I don't think it quite works. But it's very, very well done. listening to it a few more times, I did decide to give it my approval. It sorta grows on you…
