Access Virus (Tom ?)

(posted publically, 'cos it could be of interest for everyone). Hi Tom, I know that, between you gears, you've got a Virus. What model is it? Do you feel comfortable with it? Are you using pre-made patches or you make your own? If it's one of the rack versions, is it in any way "uncomfortable&q...

The whole Soundwavers crew is leaving the scene.

Hi all, don't panic. Here's something for you, c64remix sceners, something we want to share with you. It's both sad and.... happy. The facts: TSW isn't releasing anything since october 2002. This is due to many factors, many some of you already know and some others... In those months, the most "...

There are two entities: We (remixers) and listeners (voters). We expect an impartial judice on our music. Eg: the listener is an heavy metal freak, we make orchestral, we expect that, if he doesn't like orchestral he at least gives us good votes for technical and/or sound and so on. the metal head, ...

Re: Presets

Which ironically would be mostly MIDI presets, since most workstations and synths out there are based around GM in some way. So the ones that were easily gettable (for instance, Roland JD800) will be quite familiar sounds. whatwhatwhat?! Uh?! Roland JD800 in "some way" related to GM?! Chr...

Re: Reviewers must be aged 18 or older to enter ;-)

Do you have an older Soundblaster-soundcard on a PC with VIA-chipset? This setup produces crackles in playback on every song... "VIA chipset" is a way too large description. Only *some* KT133 and KT133A chipset were affected by this problem. It's years i have a KT133A mobo with a soundbla...

not to say remix64 v2 is an orchestral CD, it's not! but there are quite a few orchestral remixes on that CD. Remix64 V2 is a melodic, heart touching, emotional CD (well, i could also be on DVD9). This means there are a lot of great arrangers inside who will make your soul move, your skin tremble a...

Luv this Times of Lore cover: yes, sometime it remembers Wicked Games, but, more than it, it remembers me of the mainthemes of both the Silent Hill games from Konami.

The only thing that could be enhanced is the drums, too mechanic for a track of this kind. Otherwise, the cover is fantastic.

Cheers.
