I would have bid if I hadn't just won an original of "Creatures" on disc from a mate in Germany last week. I got my original disc of C2 direct from Thalamus (perks of being a reviewer then).

No problem. Whilst the technical level can't be faulted, a few of the tracks left me a little cold. Either a lack of emotional feeling (as it is supposed to be orchestral, and those sorts of performances are usually the most emotion laden) or the fact I was not as familiar with some of them as other...

Time to examine and give my verdict :) First up is Remix 64 v2. Different to the first one by a long way, going orchestral on us and trying to make the tracks flow into one another, rather than individual 80s pop cover styles. And for the most part it works, the technical level is second-to-none and...

Got around to listening to the Giana Sisters one at last... I think I almost like this more than Machinae Supremacy's version now, and that's saying something

You sure it's the HD that's gone? Could be something else (much else actually!)... unless you've tried plugging the HD into a different PC and not getting anything...

The other thing that makes life harder is that I don't have any time left to take off from work this year. Hence I wouldn't be able to get up there until mid afternoon on Saturday (given trains etc or driving)...
