Fixed it. Sorry about that, the link has changed overnight. We are still trying to find a proper home for its webpage.

Re: Remix Feedback - The Last V8
I'm using FL Studio, which is pattern-based, and I think this is contributing to the lack of variety. Pattern -> "Make unique" is your friend here. :) When I discovered this option in FL Studio, it made it so much easier for me to add subtle (and not-so-subtle) variations to repeating patterns! Als...

Re: Remix Feedback - The Last V8
Personally, I do not understand the yellow votes on this track - I voted one better on it with orange. The instrumentation is very good, the arrangement follows the original more or less, and overall, it's a really good production. However, I didn't vote red on it, because that I usually reserve to ...

Re: Videogame inspired EP
Oh, this put a big smile on my face! That was a sweet 16 minutes I spent listening to your album. Nice late 80s, early 90s FM-heavy soundscapes! Great job, Martin!

MOS Technology HQ today
Here's how the literal birthplace of the SID chip looks like today:

Rather sad, but it's amazing they still found Commodore stuff there!

Re: Your favorite VSTi's and VST's?
Ok, that's good. But there's another very disturbing thing about that player. Before you can install the player, you need to install something called "native access". What shitty crap is this? I need to install two unnecessary things before I can install a simple VST? I just want to get a SID VST, ...

Re: Your favorite VSTi's and VST's?
From what I can see, you cannot create Hubbard esque drum sounds in SIDizer: while you can program arpeggios, it doesn't feature a wave-program, where you can modify other SID parameters on a per-frame basis. You can. See "wavetable sequencer" in upper right hand corner: http://www.hypersynth.com/S...

Re: Your favorite VSTi's and VST's?
And inSIDious also remembers the last used soundbank? Saving the full state of your particular VST plugin in a project file is usually a function of your DAW, but that means saving the entire state of your VST, which includes the particular library/instrument loaded inside a "player" plugin, too. S...

Re: Your favorite VSTi's and VST's?
How does inSIDious work with the player? Do I need to open the player first every single time I want to use inSIDious in my DAW, or does it open automatically when opening the VST? I don't have a clou, because I never needed to use a player for any VST I got. I think that depends on your DAW and on...

Re: Your favorite VSTi's and VST's?
I'm that type of guy that needs alot of presets. I can change presets like I want them to be, but I can't create own sounds from nothing. Thanks, I think I will start with Sidizer. Seems to be more versatile. At the other hand inSIDious seems to be much more supported, I just have to take a look at...

Re: Your favorite VSTi's and VST's?
Thanks LaLa, this is quite interesting. I've read on KVR that Sidizer is more a mixture of an oldschool SID and modern effects, is that right? What would you guys think is the better choice, inSIDious or Sidizer? Or is it that different that it wouldn't be a mistake buying both? Or is inSIDious rea...

Pretty darn good SID emulation in a standalone VST: http://www.hypersynth.com/sidizer.html
