There are 406 "very good" remixes and 25 "outstanding" remixes. Shadow Skimmer is on rank #32. What's wrong with that? Do you think it is more complete than a good portion of the 31 remixes above it? Do you think it is a perfectly balanced arrangement which should be on #1? I hea...

Harsh words there from you, 2Klang. Apparently, it is very difficult to please you. Instead of complaining steadily about either lack of feedback or disrespect, what feedback do you expect? What do you suggest? What do you want to see changed? And how should it be instead? there're too many p...

Well, ELIOT has replied in German and hence my second message was in German, too. I think it wouldn't be nice if I took his private mails and translated them or forwarded them to someone. Let's give him some time to think about it a bit more. No answer from "Immacolata" yet. My mail to bot...

Doesn't look feasible, IMO. The original musics don't have unique names. It would only be extra work for someone to maintain such a database. The "Remix Suggestions" board should be flooded with requests before someone decided to think about a separate request-system. Btw, the message boar...

Based on the first clearly negative reply I've got, I could say my attempt was fruitless. Oh well, ... I didn't expect that someone would jump and edit the reviews right away. Afterall I'm not a chief-editor or moderator who manages the content on this site. But I did expect at least a b...

Unless I' m mistaken, with phpBB "private message" does not mean "private mail". The "private message" feature does not reveal any e-mail addresses. It is a message board based messaging system. Therefore I wonder why it has been disabled?

And another one... reviewer ELIOT. Private mail has been sent. ELIOT has published a contact address in the Remix64 profile. I do not agree with Beldin or LaLa. This time I have to agree to LaLa As LaLa already mentionend.. LaLa: we rate it so high, because it's great, really outstanding. There are ...

Private messaging has been disabled on this board

Which is a pitty. http://www.remix64.com/board/privmsg.php?mode=post&u=71 I wanted to contact user "Immacolata" and ask him politely to stop using the "RKO reviews" section as a discussion board. Unfortunately, there's no way to contact other members or reviewers. It simply d...

Yes, this was reported multiple times and was also a topic in the old Remix64 message boards, IIRC. Provided that it was the same person, he got his registration sponsored by OJ Oscillation. Don't know more about it.

Re: Off topic but it might help you out: system optimization

It is a program that allows you to optimize windoze almost as if it were a real OS like one once called AmigaOS or even Linux. Performance based comparison of Linux and Microsoft Windows is not that easy. It is far beyond the scope of this thread and message board. People who are not familiar with ...

LHA is a compression alghorythm very popular on Amiga, directly derived from Huffman's LZH. More correctly put, LZH is the acronym for Lempel/Ziv/Huffman, a compression code by Lempel/Ziv which adds Huffman encoding. Whether LHA always used LZH algorithm instead of LZSS (Lempel/Ziv/Storer/Szymanski...

Wasn't Rings of Medusa on AMIGA one of the games programmed by the same two that did the famous SCA boot virus? That one with the message "Something wonderful has happened ....... And even better ........ Your computer is alive!" or something similar.

... hmm... take that lightforce remixes for example... the last one was well made in my opinion. there are versions that i do like more and versions that i don't like so much. but i can't tell why. (except when it's made with a sid2midi converter and just sounds like output from a soundblaster 1.0 ...

Hmm, before this thread really gets locked, I'd like to mention that I didn't and won't participate in this thread's poll. So, to avoid any misinterpretation just in case any anonymous clown decides to fake the poll in the last minute and vote "Hell yeah, you little copycat!". :D
