Looks like I'll be going  SIR, Wear your tshirt littered with loading screens again :D Good to see you can make it! :D The T-Shirt got ruined recently - someone ironed it too hot and mucked up the artwork. But I made another (identical) shirt just in case I could go to the event, so I'l...

Looks like I'll be going

Thought work commitments might have prevented me, but I've got the weekend off and I'll be there on Saturday (Sunday's my wife's birthday, so I can't make it then.)'

Really looking forward to this and meeting you all again.

Love this :) - Id love to work in the games industry :( - sadly you need like 10 grand for courses in London and 2 titles behind your name b4 anyone will even look at ya :( - a very elitist field. That's not always the case - the company I work for has taken on artists with no previous games or eve...

It's like 4-4-2 and Come on England. The record label made cash, the recording studio and producer made cash, the guy who designed the single album made cash, the company that duplicated the CD's made cash.. Hell even the f**king Cheeky Girls made cash being paid to attend the launch party (which t...

IMHO the only person who should be able to SELL pictures of the event is Chris. Fair enough that cameras were allowed, but it was a private, ticketed event, and anyone who wanted to take photos for later sale should have cleared it with Chris first AND paid a fee or offered a royalty. All commercial...

Early in the C64 era my favourite tape loading sequence was on Revenge of The Mutant Camels. It showed a blank screen! The reason I liked it so much was it was the first turboloader I had - on one side the game took 20 minutes to load, the other 90 seconds! So that's my favourite tape loading sequen...

You should have done it *before* BIT2004, and used it as a viral marketing technique for the concert

How about asking people for £20 donations and offering them a free DVD if and when it becomes available?

I'm also up for selling signed prints of my pictures if anyone's interested. I know Kenz was quite keen on the idea. I'm sure we could work out a deal that would help you out Chris.

Chris
Sounds good. We could hijack the event for our own meet.

Cheers!

I've just put it all together, and it's about 28mb, including the video clips. Did you say you have an FTP site? If so could I FTP them to you?

I noticed that Chris had this permanently worried expression on his face. I could see the stress he was under. I imagine that having to organise the event, working your backside off putting it together on the day, and clearing up afterwards kind of makes it difficult to enjoy the actual concert real...

Another venue worth considering is the former Sheffield Museum for Popular Music. It's since been sold to Sheffield Halam University for their student union, but allegedly they're also hiring it out for concerts. I went there for a Christmas party a couple of years ago, and it'd make an excellent ve...

Hey Dan, can I have a full-size copy of that pic of me? My wife quite likes it and would like a copy. Oh and does anyone have any webspace spare? I don't have enough to upload my pictures, plus I've got some short vids taken with my digital camera I'd like to share. So If someone could host them for...
