Well, my "equipment" consists of a cheap "Universum" (german low cost brand, usually they use equipment from firms like grundig or philips) surround stereo, complete with big speakers, passive subwoofer and surround speakers (pro logic, not dolby digital or something sophisticate...

Is it actually possible to get the HVSC on an SD card? Seems like the more files and directories I get on there, the more it struggles to read and index... I have heard of several people who have successfully copied the HVSC to a SD-card, so it should work. I tried to do it a while ago and it seeme...

- jumping between left and right randomly Believe it or not, i kinda like this "random" jumping :) And in most cases it seems to be the effect the composer wanted. You are right about the Amiga not being able to actually "position" the individual voices between the channels, but...

Because the 100% stereo separation of the amiga sounds terrible if you are using headphones. But i also think that mono would go a step too far, some mixing between the two channels would be enough. EDIT: i should say that, at least for me, the main use of your site would be to quickly grab some ami...

Re: www.thinkcommodore.com launched!

I've found out that when you get the "forbidden" message or you get the source code rather than the rendered page just hit the "reload" button. Sometimes you have to hit it 50 times :-) Eventually the page will render correctly. I have no idea why this happens. Ah, Ok, i didn't ...

I just tried the site with firefox on linux, and all pages show me their sources (after i got around the "forbidden" by typing the pagename manually). Could be the reason why everything is messed up in firefox on Windows as well.

About Commodore interfering: If I remember correctly Commodore started interfering AFTER the Amiga was released which caused the Amiga team to leave. But I think the Amiga team said the Amiga1000 was almost what they intented in to be. I think I read that somewhere in the "on the edge" bo...

Had a quick look at the Amiga-page with Opera 8 on the PC and it looks ok so far. About the text: Commodore did the right thing and let the Amiga engineers continue their development without Commodore interfering. No they surely didnt. Commodore interfered so much that the original development team ...
