Re: Back In Time Live Signed DVD

Look, here is the same signature on the right side of the C64 carton: https://www.flickr.com/photos/zawtowers/897938276/in/album-72157601005205965/ It's from Waz's BIT lite 2005 photo album... If we knew who now owns that C64, maybe he could tell...Or maybe that Ming guy knows... At least we can now...

Re: Back In Time Live Signed DVD

Wouldn't it be likely that the signing happened around the DVD launch party at BIT Lite (September 2005)? Copenhagen event was in November, so that's probably too late. From what I've read, Andreas, Reyn and Ben were at BIT lite, so Mr X probably was too. Although he is the only one who signed with ...

Re: New Release - Defender of the Crown (The Elf's Story)

I didn't call the score random, for me it just >felt< a little bit like that because I got provided with no voting algorithm nor the number of votes per entry (aka nothing at all). However, thanks for the explanation, LMan! It makes totally sense for me. The only thing I'm wondering is if the weight...

Re: New Release - Defender of the Crown (The Elf's Story)

For me the problem with the new system and not publishing the algorithm is that I can totally not relate to the score, it felt a little bit random (although the rankings seem reasonable). I think it would have been better to put the number of votes in brackets behind the score to give at least anyth...

Re: New Release - Defender of the Crown (The Elf's Story)

Wait, there's a new voting algorithm?
The voting system explanation page https://www.remix64.com/articles/voting-system.html still has the same content as ever...

Re: 8 Bit Retro-Mashup-Mega-Mix [10 year RETURN-Magazine anniversary event]

Very well done, thx for sharing!
I especially like the Human Race version.
Btw. small typo found: it's "Storm" instead of "Strom", I guess that was unintentional... ;)

Re: Did you know?

Well, once in a while I happen to stumble across familiar sounding melody lines... This time I was watching the movie "The Long Good Friday" from 1980 starring Bob Hoskins and was suddenly thinking I was playing Nemesis the Warlock: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=empcYO0UXBE#t=98m25s Maybe Rob once...

Wow, thanks for sharing, Chris! Much appreciated!
Great performance by an obviously great person. Loved the Flight Path rendition (one of my favourite pieces) and Warhawk of course.
Good to see she's still connected to the scene... 8)

David Dunn / Julie Dunn

I seem to have completely missed that c64 composer David Dunn nowadays is often referenced as Julie Dunn. Does anybody know anything about this? Was she always Julie and used "David" as a pseudonyme or did he do some sort of gender change Dan(ielle) Bunten style? Never seen a photo of him/her so I h...

Re: The new Mobile layout for Remix64.com

Generally not bad (of course needs time to get accustomed to it) but isn't the vote distribution part missing in the "detailed view" window when clicking on an rko remix?

Re: Possible new ROTY category

Hi LMan! Dunno, I was just thinking about some easy way to say thank you to the people who take their time to write something thoughtful or funny about the tracks. Some of them doing it persistently for many many years now. Of course you could always send those guys a message, which would be more or...
