and if lala's reviews are that old, than it was the time where reviews were rare gems? (fill me in, if i got that wrong, lman! ) Aye, LaLa was (and is) the master reviewer of the c64rmx yahoogroup. He occasionally sent his batches of reviews to the mailing list. On my request, he kindly went throug...

I guess it's without question that Sonic Wanderer has his unique style, and is in no way copying Instant Remedy. They're in the same genre, that's all, and Instant Remedy is in a way the "reference" in that category, for being one of the first to employ SIDs in that genre. Being compared t...

Funny, the first thing I did this morning when I read this thread was adding guidelines to the review box :)

I see your point. Perhaps I should randomise the display order every time the page is loaded.

Just a minor point: would it not be more relevant to reorder the reviews, so the most recent is at the top of the page, rather than the oldest?
Well, I thought "First come, first served", but I dunno. What do you others think? Last first or First first :) ?

A Sonic Wanderer - Instant Remedy comparison never struck my mind. It's two very different sounds in my ear.

Yes our local Pro Markt has a real (and elaborate) FSK18 section in midst of the regular storerooom. No porn tho, only violent movies.

I actually found that funny, too, because a buddy of mine works at Media Markt, and they're bound to sell the FSK18 stuff under-the-counter, only on request.

Didn't get it as "Stand Alone", but fortunately I found a copy of the Schwarzenegger³ box at Pro Markt (FSK 18 section), which contains Total Recall, Red Heat and T2 as uncut versions. Cost me 50 € tho... :-/

Speaking of great soundtracks, just bought "Total Recall (uncut)" on DVD, which has a really great soundtrack by Jerry Goldsmith. :)

I liked how Phil Fuldner did a techno mix of, what was it, "Feinde greifen an" I think. He didn't really add much, showing that the music itself is timeless. The remix was called "The Final" and the video showed nothing but scenes from "Captain Future". I also remember ...
