 the name of the reverb-plug in??? Yeah .. it's called "SPACE DESIGNER" I just love Space Designer too, somehow it just ends up being used in everything I do :) The only problem is that my G4 is too slow to handle more than four-five instances at a time so it's the time for creative ...

Nice guitar, I like the rough way if playing it. At about 1:00 until 1:04, there are some disturbing dissonances, it seems as if the guitar melody is "biting" the chords. Not sure, but it sounds a little "off". Thanks. The melody does break a bit there, I think I'll take another...

Drive!

Ladies and gentlemen, It's time to let that hair grow again and flow free while cruising down the highway! Umm, at least if you're not located in one of the northern countries this time of year. So, here we go: MP3: http://www.playbynumbers.com/mp3/drive.mp3 HVSC: /VARIOUS/M-R/PRI/Drive.sid by Volke...

Singing through a distortion pedal there Sumppi? Very cool sound. In fact it's TL Audio Fat-2 driven hard to get the tube distortion sound with some distortion from Logic's distortion effect added in production. Next logical step would be rockabilly version, it was the next musical craze in the ear...

720 Degrees (Still Loading)

Ahem.

Step 1: Take a skateboarding game
Step 2: Decide to make a remix of the soundtrack in an appropriate style
Step 3: Crank it up to eleven ;)

Yeah, I've heard there's a bunch of Spectrum Fans meeting up that night looking for trouble :) Rumble in Brighton tonight, rumble on the beach tonight! I'll grab my guitar and fix up the hair, Stray Cats will never die ;) Oh well, I'm planning on coming if I get sensible flights from Finland to Sta...

Sumppi squire, I have to ask. How do you get such a clear guitar sound? I've been trying to no avail to stop my crappy encore from going all scratchy and microphonic whenever I use distortion. How do you record your guitars? I use Behringer V-Amp II amplifier modeller, preset 8 A ;) I've done some ...

Thanks! Will do, already have and so on. And this might be the time to say that this little hobby of mine started with Noisetracker 1.1 or so ;)

Play by Numbers: Impossible Mission 2 (Lounge Mix)

Stay for a while... Here we go again, this time in a bit more mellow mood than the previous ones. Again, just a fast & fun (and short) project but then again - the tune itself is just a one minute loop. Although a good loop, anyway. http://www.playbynumbers.com/mp3/im2.mp3 And if I'm not totally...

Well, I haven't really listened to Tiamat that much in fact :) I'm more into the likes of Ayreon, Pain of Salvation and Dream Theater. So yes, a bit of prog rock/metal in there too.

Play by Numbers: Ghosts'n Goblins (Organ Donor Live)

Ahem. Well, this was just a fast fun project that came to exist accidentally. Kind of. I tried to get the mix right for some time, but as the rest of the stuff wasn't so good I thought it wasn't worth it - hence the bootleg style. Lame excuse, I know. http://www.playbynumbers.com/mp3/gng.mp3 Doesn't...

Play by Numbers: Zoids

Ok, here's my first try at SID remix/remake:
http://www.playbynumbers.com/mp3/zoids.mp3

I've also done a short bit in my weblog about the production of the tune:

Just my view on one of my all-time favourite SID tunes.
