"Lady Gaga"

Drawn using black and white soft pastels and pastel pencils on tinted A4 paper.

*WOW* (for the artistic brilliance, not for any love of the subject!)
Won't somebody PLEASE think of the children?

This is great stuff. Much better than the pastel scenes of Parliament drawn for television in the old days. Mind you, he had to work in a rush.

As people have said to me about bits and pieces, you could make some money here. But serious, regular cash may be unlikely because even art is now an industry, an overcrowded profession.

Very good take, Markus! :D

Wish you had depictured somebody else, though.

Thanks for the comments, I really appreciate the feedback. As for the subject, what she does is an extrapolation of what Madonna did 20 years ago. It's of course a matter of taste, but she makes an interesting motif anytime :)

Yeah, just because you're good at it doesn't mean you should try and make a living from it: that takes all the fun out of it most of the time.

Right you are, Chris. Chosing images I feel I'd like to draw anytime when I'd like to draw is much more fun. It's perfect for chilling out.
