Any idea of the game this came from ?

Any idea of the game this came from ?

Post by Grazey / PHF »

Hiya not strictly Commodore related... ahem

But maybe you chaps can help, I'm trying to identify this Atari ST chip tune :-

http://www.levelone.karoo.net/daglish.mp3

I presume it's by Benn Daglish as it uses an identical music driver to Captain America which he also composed. There again it could be by someone who just used the Gremlin driver.

I've emailed Benn who think's it might be by him, but he can't remember!

Hopefully the tune might be the same as the C64/Amiga version.

So......... any idea of the game it came from ?

Cheers

We like beeps now, it's our new policy! Plus there are a fair few long-term fans of the AY chip as well, here.

Aha, I recognised the melody straight away. It's from the The Running Man released by Grandslam.

The C64 music is actually much worse, check out /GAMES/M-R/Running_Man.sid in HVSC.

You Da Man Waz!!! I would have had to listen to the entire HVSC Collection to figure that one out. :)

Hi Waz

Yes... very strange for a C64 version to be inferior! :)

Anyway thanks a million for the spot. That was the only tune in the 5000+ archive which I couldn't identify! :)

Cheers
