SONiC - Now a genuine part of your traffic hazard. =)
Hey everybody!
Just wanted to share with the lot of you that as of today, November 8th 2006, I have passed my driver's licence test and am free to roam the roads on my own.
So, the ones living in the vicinity of Växjö, Sweden, watch out for a red Audi 80 of a late 80's model.
God damn, it feels good!

Thanks, y'all.
Though, passing 30 and planning family etc more or less creates a *demand* on having a licence, so I figured I might just as well get it overwith. Only 12 years late. =)
Yup. legal age is 18. You can start practice-driving at 16. I just never got around to it. Had my trusty bike. =)cpt_chaos wrote:Congrats Wanderer (or better Sonic Driver now?)
However, aren't you allowed to drive at age 18 over there or did it just take some more time to get your license. Anyway, have fun with your Audi!!

I hope the insurance treats you nicer than they did me. £1,200 per annum for a Toyota Avensis. Won't really come down til i have 3 years no claims either.
I thought £642 was bad for my first Renault 21 Turbo (group 14 car, 22 year old me, 4 years no claims)
the AA quoted me £1647 4 minutes before that quote and i nearly crapped myself.
