Hi. I just wanted to tell you that I made my first VSTi. It was done in Synthmaker and is mainly intended for industrial and electronica production. It's freeware so be free to download and play around, and if you come up with interesting patches please post it here so I can include 'em in the next update (of course you'd be credited for it).
It's quite a CPU hog ATM, but i'm gona optimize and clean it for next update. Schematics are quite a mess now...
Cool. Will it work on the Mac? ...or do I have to jumpstart the PC for it instead? I'll have a try for sure. Btw, you should have a look at our old Musicline Editor from the Amiga. It might even give you some ideas. Howl for me on Skype or so and I'll hook you up with a setup for it. Ask Moog, Trace and Hazel what they think about it.
Mac? no... . At first, I made this for myself for some low modulated sounds and used it in some previous tracks, then thought maybe someone else finds it interesting too. It's merely for fun of exploring, don't take this too serious...
- fixed saving/loading preset (it didn't work)
- added mono option and adjustable portamento time
- added a lowpass filter (to filter out high freq if wanted generated by lfo)
- added a flanger fx unit
- some more presets
- minor bugs fixed
- minor optimizations
Downloading it now (my god things take their time on dial up :s)
I tried ages ago to create my own vsti with synth edit but didnt understand what the hell was going on heh, probably should give it a go now as i know alot more now than i did then, would have to jump in the tardis to find the time though ^^
